I'd like to have them further back and positioned at an approximately 60-degree angle but the speakers' sheer size precludes doing so. I've since moved them away from the computer somewhat to allow access to the DVD drive and memory card reader but I'm still experimenting with speaker placement locations to optimize fidelity while maintaining a degree of aesthetic appeal.
