My freelance MAC setup
Hi my name is Michael, I’m the owner of Hold Fast Media, and I’ve been freelancing for about a year now. I was born on Friday, July 13th; it was a leap year, and the moon was full. The Pretenders graced the cover of The Rolling Stone, and When Doves Cry sat atop the Billboard Top 100. Many have said I was born to be different. I like to think of myself as a man with peculiar passions, and building this workstation has definitely been one of those passions…
This is my first Mac computer – I traded a Dell setup for the laptop alone, and it has been my intention to build a workstation that will last for years to come.

Hi Michael!
Great setup! One question: what are you doing to have two external screens apart from the Macbook one? Any Mini-DVI multiplier or something like that?

No splitter, the first monitor is running HDMI into Mini-DVI adapter. The second monitor is running HDMI into an external video/graphics adapter — the external video adapter connects to the Macbook via USB. Check out the link below…
